At Crays, we’ve embraced an association-based model for Crays DAO to merge the decentralized principles of a DAO with a legally recognized framework that ensures transparency, inclusivity, and stability. This hybrid structure empowers members to collaboratively shape the future through on-chain voting — making decisions on resource allocation, project development, and ecosystem growth. By eliminating centralized leadership, Crays DAO fosters true community ownership, driving collective innovation and sustainable progress while creating a trusted environment for all stakeholders.
Value Through Leadership and Community Governance
Crays envisions a fully automated DAO in the future, but current legal and technological limitations make this approach unfeasible for now.
At present, leadership within Crays DAO is shared between the President, responsible for overall strategy and representation, and the General Secretary, who oversees daily operations and the execution of governance decisions.Governance is driven by the DAO General Assembly, where members elect leadership, amend bylaws, and allocate resources. An Advisory Council provides strategic guidance, while the Executive Board executes resolutions, manages tokenized assets, and supports day-to-day operations. In addition, specialized committees focus on ethics, financial oversight, tokenization, and community development.
Crays is launching its DAO in a lean initial form through an association structure to ensure legal stability — laying the foundation for a fully automated DAO that will empower our community through decentralized governance.
