Nostr and Crays

How Nostr becomes the base layer for Crays.net, Content Sale, Status Badges, Crays Award, Crays World, Super Nodes, Lightning and future DAO governance.

Crays uses Nostr because one portable social graph can connect profiles, creators, fans, capital and real places. The protocol alone is not the business. It is the base layer for the Crays operating system.

Base architecture

Crays needs a social layer that is portable, signed and independent from one closed app. Nostr supplies identity and social events. Bitcoin and Lightning supply value flow. Crays products supply commercial and hospitality execution.

Product stack

Crays.net is the public profile and creator surface. Content Sale gives paid content access. Status Badges represent bought or earned status. Crays Award turns audience attention into voting and acquisition. Crays World connects the online identity to venues. Super Nodes bring relay and service context into real places.

  • Crays.net. Profile, links, fans, content, status and ecosystem entry.
  • Content Sale. Creator monetization and paid access.
  • Status Badges. Bought status or earned status through revenue, performance or contribution.
  • Crays Award. Nostr-based voting and creator acquisition.
  • Crays World. Venue layer and local social graph.
  • Super Node. Local relay, mesh and hospitality service infrastructure.

Why not a closed Crays account only

A closed account can operate a database, but it cannot create a resilient ecosystem identity. Crays wants creators, fans, operators, capital and venues to remain connected as products change.

DAO path

Future governance needs identity, reputation, membership context, signed votes, participation history and economic signal. Nostr gives the signed social substrate. Crays can add rules, legal structure and product UX.
