Nostr is not a company chart. It is a loose network of protocol authors, client builders, relay operators, designers, funders, educators, media builders and users. This page gives the most important public names a clear place in the archive without pretending the list is finished.
How this people archive works
Each profile is written from public sources only. It focuses on a person's visible role in the Nostr ecosystem, the projects they are known for and why their work matters for Crays. It does not invent personal biography and it does not rank people as heroes.
The first version covers the most visible founders, protocol builders, major client developers, signer and library builders, infrastructure contributors and public supporters. It is intentionally expandable.
- Protocol origin. fiatjaf and the early Nostr repository.
- Client builders. Damus, Amethyst, Coracle, Iris, Nos, Primal, Gossip, noStrudel and related projects.
- Infrastructure. rust-nostr, NDK, signers, relays, Blossom, Satellite and developer tooling.
- Funding and culture. OpenSats, Jack Dorsey, event organizers and creator communities.
